In gr. 8vo, (12)+255+(1)+71+(1)+40+(8) pp., Engraved title with Tasso’s portrait and view of Genova within architectural frame, engraved headpieces and finalini, 20 plates at beginning of each Canto (Chapter), early XX century half-leather binding with corners, gilt title on spine.

 

Comments:

Rare first illustrated edition and rare specimen without the table of the Canto IV duplicated with that of the V. The engravings are probably in first impression, with great contrast.
